Final Examination: 

The final examination is written and consists of 4 tasks. Ex.1: reading comprehension of a text with gap-filling (12 words from a table); ex.2: to answer 8 statements according to the passage with T/F (true-false);ex.3:to answer 4 open questions related to the text given; ex.4: 26 questions (multiple choice).
The test aims at assessing the student's vocabulary.

Giudizio Finale

The aim of this course is to provide Sport Sciences and Motor Control Students with a wide vocabulary useful to enhance their communication skills in the field of their studies and future profession.
Even if this course does not focus on grammar, the basic structures and rules will be reviewed if needed, just to improve students’ ability to master the English Language.

The main parts of the human body – the skeletal system- bones- muscles-joints.
Physical and sports activity: the importance of sport in promoting physical, emotional, psychological and social benefits.
Ethics in sport – positive models.
Sport in Great Britain and in other countries.
Sporting disciplines (indoor/outdoor activities, winter sports, extreme sports).
Sport-related vocabulary (sports facilities, tools and equipment, idioms).
Olympic games- Paralympics
