The course has the purpose of illustrating the Italian regulatory system in the European context, with particular reference to the regulation of Financial Intermediaries, Investment Services and Regulated Markets.
Lectures; e-learning. Examinations are written.

After a short introduction (co-ordination with knowledge already acquired in the course of study), there will be a presentation of the European Economic Constitutional Law, the sources of the Financial Markets Law, the control and supervision on Financial Markets, and the regulation and financial supervision at European level (ESMA - European Securities and Markets Authority). Then, there will be a detailed explanation of the rules of conduct and responsibility of Financial Intermediaries, and the discipline of the Investment Services and the Instrumental Activities. Furthermore, the Course will be focused on the following general themes in detail: Collective Asset Management, Markets Regulation; Issuers; Corporate Disclosure, Insider Trading and Market Abuse.
