Making Judgements: 

The knowledge acquired during the course of study to represent the student 's Master of Science in Law the "platform" from which to arrive at its own independent judgment on issues of interpretation and evolution that characterize the legal knowledge.

The reflections on the problematic character of legal experience are inherent in the study of basic and characteristic ( formulations legislative arbitration and sometimes unclear , as well as the conflicts that are rooted jurisprudential on them they are the best example) and are refined during examination optional choice of each student.

Judgement developed is subject to verification at the time of examinations and , together with the specificity and properties of its own technical language of art , when the draft of the (thesis) that is placed at the end of the study and that it must necessarily have the character of completeness , also of bibliographic information , with respect to the issues discussed and autonomy from the general scheme by which the same are exposed .

Communication skills: 

The refinement of the ability to communicate is fundamental for those who attend the Master of Science in Law.

Whether you need to stretch , as a judge , the grounds of a judgment , whether they should support an oral discussion as a lawyer, is that it should provide a legal response to a question put to it by a client , the lawyer must be able to convey the given legal with its facets and problems in a clear and effective.

The intention is , in particular , to signify the student the need to use methods and forms of expression in different part depending on whether you are using technical legal language is called upon to do so , either orally or in written form.

The course is oriented to develop these communication skills : using the exams are oral , but written ( with open-ended responses ) , as well as through the written version and the oral argument of the thesis .

Learning skills: 

With full knowledge of the inherent obsolescence and evolving nature of the normative data , the graduate in the Master of Science in Law must be able to:

- Deepen in an autonomous and original understanding of themes and issues within the framework of the basic knowledge provided ;

- Update the knowledge base and specifications , to coincide with the new laws or case law that will affect individual schools or entire materials ;

- Find themselves the current regulations of individual institutions , moving from forming legislative and supplementing it with the necessary equipment jurisprudential and doctrinal .

The learning ability is particularly stimulated by teaching the student to research legal data , both in traditional ways ( search encyclopedias , magazines, paper resources ), and through the use of remote databases and on-line .

It is , therefore , an object of particular occurs during the processing of the thesis , the drafting of which geared to autonomy in the critical revision presupposes individual courses and personal research and significant results in terms of the methodology used .

The final exam (20 credits) consists in the elaboration written under the guidance of a teacher , a thesis in the field of law with monographic character of originality. The thesis must then be discussed orally before a Commission . The judgment on the discussion of the thesis may lead to an increase of the votes, compared to the average , corresponding to:

- Up to 2 points above the average for the thesis compilative ( sufficient) ;

- Up to 4 points for the thesis complete and well- structured ( good) ;

- Up to 6 points for the thesis well made and with some ideas reconstructive ( very good).

The Commission may , however, assess any higher scores on the basis of a report prepared by the supervisor argued .
