Micaela Latini (PhD in Philosophy 2004, University of Urbino) is Associate Professor (since 2018) of Aesthetics and German Culture at the Department of Human Sciences, Innovation and Territory of University of Insubria (Varese/Como). She teaches Image Languages and Theories and German Culture at the Master in Communication, and she is a member of the Doctoral Course in Law and Human Sciences at the University of Insubria.

2018 she obtained the national qualification (ASN) as Full professor in Aesthetics and 2017 in German Literature.

From 2006 to 2018 she worked at University of Cassino (as tenured assistant professor of German Literature and Culture since 2011).

She was fellow at the Robert Jungk-Zentrum, Salzburg (2018), at the Klassik-Stiftung, Weimar (2014 and 2017), at the Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität München (DAAD Stipendium), at the Bogliasco-Foundation (2014), at Eikones/Basel (2007), at the University of Vienna (ÖAD post-laurea and post-doc fellowship 1999 and 2004-2008).
