Biography

Mario Conetti was born in Trieste, June,11 1970. He graduated summa cum laude in Philosophy at the University of Milan in March 1996 and in Theology at Facoltà Valdese di Teologia in May 1998. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Milan in December 1999. From June 2000 to April 2001 he was a Research Fellow at Istituto Storico Italo Germanico in Trento. Since May 2001 has been Assistant Professor, first of Medieval and Modern Legal History, then of Medieval History, at the University of Insubria.
 

Research interests

 Late medieval and early modern legal and political thought. Medieval economic thought and public finances in Italian city states.
 

Teaching experience and appointments

 Since 2002, Associate Professor of Medieval History;
since 2003, Associate Professor of Medieval and Modern History;
since 2005, Associate Professor of History of Christianity and Palaeography, the University of Insubria
