Biography

Born in Montevarchi (Ar), October 18, 1968 and living in Milan, via Termopili 19 cap 20127. 1994: graduate in law in Milan (Catholic University) with 110/110; 1994: lecturer and Assistant Professor in Roman law at the School of Law, Catholic University in Milan and at the School of Law, University of Insubria in Como; 1999: Ph.D. in late roman empire law at the University of Pavia; 2002: Researcher in roman law at the School of Law, University of Insubria in Como; 2002: Professor of ancient Greek law at the School of Law, University of Insubria in Como.
 

Qualifications and awards

1994: Winner of “Giuseppe Provera” prize for best dissertation in roman law discussed in Italy in 1992-1993.
 

Research interests

The research focuses on the most rigorous historiographical and dogmatic canons and aiming for interdisciplinary characteristics, has been developed around two main goals: the study of late roman empire law, between papyrological documents and imperial legislation, and the analyisis of roman constitution, focusing the relationship between juridical, political and institutional elements and economic and financial life during the republic.
