Research interests |
In her research activity,
she is interested in the transition from ‘traditional’
to ‘modern’ penal law and focuses on peculiar aspects
of it.
The main subject of research is represented by the role of the idea
of “risk” in criminal law. Legal developments are studied
in relation with social evolution (therefore the attention paid to
the “risk society” topic). With specific regard to the
juridical field, she looks at the concept of “risk” as
an element both of the interpretation and of criminal rules themselves
(therefore the regard for Italian law about safety in the workplace).
She also regards fields, where criminal law recently starts growing
up (environmental criminal law, financial markets’ criminal
law, etc.). |
