Clinical outcome studies
in hip and knee prosthetic surgery, specifically hip replacement for
congenital disease.
Factors influencing fixation of prosthetic implants to bone.
Mechanical analysis of Polyethylene removed during hip and knee revision
surgery, and correlation with histological findings on the biological
interface.
Prevention and treatment of bone and joint infections in prosthetic
surgery, with particular interest in articular spacer. |

Clinical practice consists
of general orthopedic care, specifically in hip and knee prosthetic
surgery.
Operative fixation of fractures of the upper and lower extremity:
common surgical procedures include standard open reduction and internal
osteosynthesis techniques, minimally invasive stabilization methods,
joint replacement for periarticular fractures.
