1978 Degree in Medicine,
University of Pavia. In the pre- and post-graduate years she worked
at the Human Anatomy Institute of the University of Pavia. 1978-1987 General practitioner in Pavia 1983-1986 Professor of "Tecniche di preparazione e metodologia dell'osservazione in Istologia ed Embriologia", integrative course of Histology and Embriology, School of Medicine, University of Milano. 1987-1994 Associate Professor of Topographic Anatomy, School of Medicine, University of Cagliari. 1994-1999 Full Professor of Human Anatomy, School of Medicine, University of Cagliari Since 1999 Full Professor of Human Anatomy, School of Medicine, the University of Insubria. Since 2003 Head of Department Human Morphology, the University of Insubria. |

oriented on: -ultrastructural histochemical evidentiation of proteoglycans and supramolecular assembly of proteoglycans in the extracellular matrix; -role of the extracellular matrix in the first phases of endochondral mineralization; -ultrastructural histochemical evidentiation of enzymes involved in Calcium metabolism and transport. |
