Founded in June 2004, the Department of Environment, Health and Safety is an Interfaculty Department, drawing upon the contributions of many teachers and researchers from a wide array of disciplines: Sanitary-Environmental Engineering, Hydraulics, Medicine of Catastrophes, Ecology-Natural Sciences, Corporate and Environmental Law, Physics, Engineering, and Theoretical Physics. The strong interdisciplinary aspect of the Department facilitates many research and study opportunities, as well as building and reinforcing its positive and productive relationships with local and national governments and local and multinational companies.
