Economics

The Department of Economics (DE) fosters, organizes and supports research in all scientific areas associated with Economics and Business Administration. All of the people currently in the Department of Economics belong to the School of Economics.

The department is organized into four sections: Economics, Business Administration, Quantitative Methods, Law and Economics. Since its founding in 2001, the Department has managed a working paper series called “Quaderni della Facoltà di Economia”, indexed in Repec, available at: eco.uninsubria.it/dipeco/Quaderni.

The Department of Economics supports the following research centers, laboratory, and PhD program:

• Research Center for Innovation and Life Sciences Management (CrESIT);
• Research Center on Internationalization of the Local Economy (CRIEL);
• Research on Business Ethics and Social Responsibility (CreaRes);
• Laboratory of Experimental Economics;
• PhD program in Development Economics.
