My prevailing research interests concern the regulations of companies, in particular corporations.
At first I focused my attention on the problem of individual rights of shareholders, an issue to which I dedicated the three years of my PhD as well as my first paper. Then I switched my attention to issues concerning both corporations and, even if less extensively, partnerships, and publishing several essays concerning the different sectors of Commercial Law.
I also devoted myself to issues regarding bank branches and, marginally, bankruptcy law. At the beginning of the millennium I dealt with problems connected to the generational succession in small and medium-size companies, and then concentrated on 2003 law reform concerning corporations, with particular attention to a company’s financial structure.
Currently, I am interested in issues related to the application to partnerships of groups’ law discipline. |
