Biography

 Born in Pavia, on March 27, 1961. Laurea in Economia e commercio, Università di Pavia (1985). M.Sc. in Economics, University of York, UK (1987); Doctor of Philosophy, Department of Economics, University of York, UK (1991).

 Previous qualifications and other awards include: Associate Professor of Economics, Università “Federico II” di Napoli (1998-2000); Assistant Professor of Public Finance, Univeristà di Pavia (1994-98); Jean Monnet Fellow European University Institute (Florence, 1997); British Academy Post-doctoral fellow, University of York (UK) (1992-93); Research officer Institute of Economics and Statistics, University of Oxford (1992); Grant “Mortara” from Bank of Italy (1986-87).
 

Research interests

 Microeconomics; behavioral foundations of economic decision making and experimental economics, with applications to public economic models. Policy oriented research on fiscal policy in Italy and Europe.
