Political Sciences, University of Milan 1999-2004: Faculty Assistant, Contemporary History and “Storia sociale dello Spettacolo”, Faculty of Humanities, University of Milan; doctor’s degree in European society and international life in modern and contemporary ages 2001-2004: Contract Professor of Contemporary History, University of Insubria 2005: Assistant Professor of Contemporary History, University of Insubria 2005: Historical Consultant for the TV movie Le cinque giornate di Milano, produced by “Progetto Imagine s.r.l.”, directed by Carlo Lizzani; Historical Consultant for the TV history production 60 anni ad Aprile, TV host Gaspare Barbiellini Amidei, produced by “Wilder s.r.l.” 2005: Member of the Scientific Council Board of the “Istituto di Storia Contemporanea ‘Piero Amato Perretta’, Como” His research has mainly focused on problems and aspects of the Italian History of the last two centuries, and particularly “Storia del Risorgimento”, particularly highlighting the reconstruction, as well as the reappraisa, of the social, political and institutional contest in the contemporary Italy. This work has chiefly taken into account the role of the ruling classes comparing the different provincial and local realities, still in a general ambit. He has also analyzed the old and the new forms of political and civil legitimation of the ruling classes during the XIX century. |

Assistant Professor of Contemporary History at the Univerisity of Insubria, School fo Sciences where he teaches Contemporary History. He is a member ofthe Department of Computer Science and Communication. He is also a member of the Stage Commission of the Computer Science degree. | |
