His research has mainly focused on problems and aspects of the Italian History of the last two centuries, and particularly “Storia del Risorgimento”, particularly highlighting the reconstruction, as well as the reappraisa, of the social, political and institutional contest in the contemporary Italy. This work has chiefly taken into account the role of the ruling classes comparing the different provincial and local realities, still in a general ambit. He has also analyzed the old and the new forms of political and civil legitimation of the ruling classes during the XIX century.

Research interests

Reconstruction as well as the reappraisal of the social, political and institutional contests in contemporary Italy. Role of the ruling classes comparing the different provincial and local realities, still in a general ambit.
 

Teaching experience and appointments

Assistant Professor of Contemporary History at the Univerisity of Insubria, School fo Sciences where he teaches Contemporary History. He is a member ofthe Department of Computer Science and Communication. He is also a member of the Stage Commission of the Computer Science degree.
