Biography

 Degree in Computer Science at the State University of Milan, Italy (1985). Ph.D. in Computer Science, at the State University of Milan, Italy (1990). From 1990 to 2001 assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science (DSI) of the State University of Milan. Since 2001 Associate Professor at University of Insubria, Department of Computer Science (DICOM).
 

Research interests

 Formal languages, computational complexity and analysis of algorithms, combinatorics, symbolic computation and computer algebra.
