1. Physiology and pathophysiology of the thyroid gland, with particular reference to Graves’ hyperthyroidism and ophthalmopathy, iodine-induced thyroid disorders, hypothyroidism and thyroid autoimmunity, thyroid nodular disorders and neoplasms;

2. Diseases of the pituitary gland, with particular reference to pituitary adenomas, including prolactin-secreting, growth hormone-secreting, TSH-secreting, ACTH-secreting and nonfunctioning adenomas;
