Endoscopic surgery in gynecology with particular interest in the development of mini-invasive approches in both benign conditions and oncologic diseases.

Prenatal diagnosis of congenital anomalies with particular interest in the investigation of the umbilical cord morphology and composition.

Premature labor and delivery with particular interest in the early identification of sonographic and biochemical markers of fetal inflammation.

Clinical interests

The clinical activity has focused mainly on gynecologic surgery with the performance of a vast number of major surgical operations in both areas of gynecology and obstetrics. The major interest is the laparoscopic treatment of malignant diseases of the genital tract.
