Research Center for Health Care Management and Innovation (CrESIT)

Research Center for Health Care Management and Innovation (CrESIT) is an interdepartmental structure of the University of Insubria, built by the collaboration of professors and researchers from the Schools of Economics, Medicine and Science.

The Center’s research specifically focuses on the interrelationships of the hospital sector with other sectors of the Health Care field, including the pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors and other productive and service frameworks. The research and analysis of the hospital sector is undertaken within a systems framework; i.e. taking into consideration regulatory aspects that exert influences upon the strategic management of the involved organizations and firms.

For this purpose, the center has established national and international relationships with universities, research centers and hospitals that are interested in similar fields of research.

Currrently, the Center’s research focuses on:

• Financial analysis of the Italian hospital sector;
• Biotechnology in Italy (in collaboration with Assobiotec and Blossom Association).
