Offices and Services: Insubria University Press (IUP)

IUP supports the academic mission of the University of Insubria by publishing books and papers for a diverse readership. These publications, written by a group of Italian authors representing a broad range of intellectual perspectives, reflect the academic and institutional strengths of the University.

The publications of the Press are books and other materials that further scholarly investigation, advance interdisciplinary inquiry, stimulate public debate, educate both within and outside the classroom, and enhance cultural life. Through the distribution of these works the Press demonstrates its commitment to increasing the range and vigor of intellectual pursuits within the university and elsewhere. With an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, IUP continually extends its horizons to embody university press publishing at its best.

The beginnings of IUP can be traced to 2003 - and currently publishes approximately 15 new books or papers a year in these subjects: medicine, law, business, sciences, humanities, social science, local history.
