The service includes a number of direct routes, in addition to those operated by Line C buses, dedicated to students and to all those who need to travel from Varese city centre to reach the Bizzozero Campus.
These routes – identified by the word “INSUBRIA” on the bus display – do not make intermediate stops between the city centre and Via Monte Generoso, in order to guarantee an even faster and more efficient service: ten to twelve minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
The service is operated by Autolinee Varesine and is made possible through cooperation between the company, the Local Public Transport Agency of Como–Lecco–Varese, the Municipality of Varese, and the University of Insubria.
The direct routes are specifically intended for students, staff, and collaborators of the University.
To use the service, it is necessary to hold a valid urban bus ticket or season pass.
