Quality for a university is the degree to which it achieves its educational, scientific and third mission objectives in order to:

  1. Play a leading role in the advancement and transmission of knowledge;
  2. Prepare its students for active citizenship, enhancing the motivations and orientations of each individual.

Quality Assurance (QA) is the set of integrated processes that enables a university to achieve its quality objectives. The Italian QA model, developed by the National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR), is based on European standards (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area 2015).

Below is the document that defines the University's policies on QA, in line with the requirements of the national accreditation system Self-assessment, Periodic Evaluation, Accreditation (AVA) system and with the principles of the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) of ENQA, and based on the University's mission and vision as set out in the Strategic Plan.
