NODES Project

The Nodes Project, selected within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, will end in three years and aims to support growth and the digital and ecological transition in Piedmont, Valle d'Aosta and in the westernmost provinces of Lombardy, i.e. Como, Varese and Pavia, through the creation of research and industrial supply chains (called "spokes") in seven sectors related to advanced manufacturing: Industry 4.0 for mobility and aerospace, Industrial sustainability and green technologies, Tourism and culture industry , digital and sustainable mountains, health industry and silver economy, primary and secondary agro-industry.
The implementing subjects (who make up the Hub, which is responsible for management coordination) are all public universities, including Insubria, with the aim of creating one of the 11 Innovation Ecosystems identified by the Ministry of University and of research.
