Second edition of IISS to be held in September
The Insubria International Summer School (IISS), as a joint venture between the University of the Insubria and members of the Faculty of Harvard Medical School, organizes continuing medical education courses for Specialists in the field of cancer.
Its second edition, to be held in Varese from September 26th to 29th, 2007, focuses on recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer.

Inauguration of Insubria Academic Year 2006-07
The ceremony will be held on March 26th, 2007 in Como, Aula Musa, Viale F. Cavallotti 3 and will begin at 16:00.
In this occasion an Honoris Causa Degree in Industrial Chemistry will be bestowed on Professor Michele Parrinello.

Public selection for the assignation of two (2) scholarships
Research activities:

• "Upgrading of wastewater treatment plant for nutrient removal"
• "Development of detectors for the measurement of the neutrino mass".
