The Insubria University Club was founded in July of 2005 as a non-profit association, with the purpose of cooperating with and promoting the best interests of the University of Insubria. The organization focuses on higher education and promotes the discussion of current cultural, educational, and social issues, thereby expanding personal relationships among graduates and former members of the University, and promoting social functions among its members.
One of the organizations goals is to establish periodic meetings that promote the exchange of ideas and information between the University and the local community. These meetings take place monthly, on the afternoon of every third Monday at the University Club hall located in the Villa Toeplitz (Varese).
Insubria University Club members includes staff of the academic comunity, friends of the University, and scholars of different disciplines. A list of members is available upon request at insubriaclub@hotmail.com
To ensure an enjoyable visit to the Insubria University Club, it is important to telephone ahead whenever possible to find out when the Club is open, and what services are offered to visiting members.
