The purpose of this three-year degree is to form professionals involved in the prevention of the oral and dental diseases.
Students in Dental Hygiene will acquire a basic knowledge of biology, anatomy, pathology and physiology related to the buccal cavity through theoretical and practical activities.

Graduated Hygienists will work under the supervision of Odontologists or as professionals in private or public hospitals and in universities.
