FIRST JOINT SUMMER SCHOOL ON BREAST CANCER

The course will be held in June 2010, on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th, in Induno Olona (VA) at Boscolo Hotel Porro Pirelli (Via E. Tabacchi 20).
Under the direction of Professor Renzo Dionigi, the IISS has organized an annual educational activity jointly sponsored by the University of Insubria and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, a worldwide leader in the treatment of neoplastic diseases and continuing medical education. The first course of the series focuses on Breast Carcinoma and showcases lectures by a Faculty of physicians and scientists of international stature in the fields of research, diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.
The course objective is to update medical specialists, who already have a basic knowledge in oncology and related disciplines, on new approaches and techniques for clinical practice and on the clinical relevance of recent advances in the basic research of neoplastic diseases. The course is also intended to foster collaboration and exchange between the University of Insubria and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, USA. The course is accredited as a continuing medical education activity in compliance with the requirements of the USA Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, the EU Accreditation Council and the Italian Ministry of Public Health.
This educational activity has been designated for a maximum of 14.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM, 8 Italian ECM credits by the Italian Ministry of Public Health and 9 European CME credits by the EACCME for physicians.
Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
