COURSE ON COLORECTAL CANCER Biology, Diagnosis and Therapy
The course will be held from 26th to 29th September 2007 in Varese.
The Insubria International Summer School (IISS), as a joint venture between the University of the Insubria and members of the Faculty of Harvard Medical School, organizes continuing medical education courses for Specialists in the field of cancer.
The second edition of the Summer School focuses on recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and, under the direction of Professors Renzo Dionigi and Martin Mihm, an outstanding Faculty of leading international and Italian Scientists will take part.
This IISS course will be joined with the Consensus Conference of Italy Chapter of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), in which the most updated approaches to prevention, early diagnosis and therapy, including the most groundbreaking aspects, will be debated to arrive at a consensus approach towards providing optimal care for the colorectal cancer patient.
Accreditation. The course has obtained the acknowledgement of 24 European CME credits by the EACCME (European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education) and 14 Italian ECM credits by the Italian Ministry of Public Health.
