School of Economics

The School of Economics at the University of Insubria offers a wide range of options for undergraduate and graduate studies and research. The Faculty's teaching activity and research encompass a variety of topics, such as development economics, political economy, fiscal and monetary policies, applied econometrics and risk management.

The Department’s research activity focuses on corporate social responsibility and social reporting, through the research center CreaRes - Center for Ethics in Business and Social Responsibility. The Center initiates and sponsors studies on nonprofit organizations and social accounting, with a strong interdisciplinary emphasis. CreaRes's members also contributed to the organization and teaching of the Masters degree in "Ethics and Social Responsibility in Business and Professions ", sponsored by the School of Economics and the School of Law at the University of Insubria.
