The Residency Program in Otorhinolaringology is designed as a specialization for the medical doctor and is structured in a progressive learning fashion focused on practical clinical applications. This course provides the fundamental basis of anatomy, physiology and pathology of the ENT-region. Clinical and instrumental semilogy are studied in depth, with a particular emphasis given to the new endoscopic techniques.
Stages of border pathologies are analyzed in the Neurologic, Neurosurgical and Pediatric Departments. The resident will also learn the fundamentals of medical and prosthetic treatment for auditory deficits. The program focuses on neoplastic pathology and the study of imagistic stages in Radiology Department, as well as basic techniques of ENT-Surgery for the treatment of inflammatory, post traumatic and neoplastic patologies of ENT-Region.
