This two-year graduate degree (120 ECTS) in Industrial Biotechnology and Biocatalysis completes the professional coursework trajectory in the field of Biotechnology.
During the first year, the coursework cultivates a deeper knowledge of protein production and engineering, of industrial fermentation, and of the biological applications of Biotechnology (as well as the corresponding advanced methodologies).
The second year is largely devoted to developing a research project in the field. Students will gain practical experience through industry internships and campus research opportunities. The program will be structured to provide formal and informal components to ensure that students think critically, work in teams cooperatively and communicate effectively.
After successfully completing the degree, students will be offered joint job opportunities in private companies and in national and international research institutions.
