The degree in Environmental Sciences is a two-year program (120 ECTS) open to graduate students. It requires 81 credits of exams, seminars, laboratory and field activities and 39 credits on the final Laurea thesis of original research to be pursued at a university or a private or public research agency.
A multidisciplinary educational approach will be followed in both courses of study, combining scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, ecology, geology, toxicology), knowledge of English language and information technology and relevant environmental aspects of law and economics.
Students are offered a choice of two options:
Landscape evolution and natural risk assessment.
Environment quality and chemical risk assessment.
Each year, a choice of field stages and seminars will be proposed to introduce the students to state-of-art aspects of the theory and applications of Environmental Sciences.
